Singapore is head in maths and science

From the lastly international report said Singapore lead the world in math and science. Singapore had the best average scores in both subjects students aged 10("fourth grade") and 14("eighth grade") in Mathematics and Science Study (Timss). Students from England also did well in science. Mathematics and Science Study is four-yearly test. This is the second time that English has failed. It made UK left out from the PISA rank. There is organised by the International Association for the Evaluation of Educational Achievement and co-ordinate by researchers at Boston College in the US. The researchers said Singapore students at grade 4 and 8 were easily to do the top performers in maths and the best in science with the highest average scores. Also students from South Korea, Chinese Taipei and Hong Kong region of China also do performed very well across the two subject areas.

In my opinion, I have no doubt about why students from Singapore get the best scores in both subjects because in their education system it is cleanly said the overall aim of primary education is to give students a good grasp of English language, Mother Tongue and Mathematics. So, students must study hard since they are in primary school. As I knew most of school in those countries has extra classes from student to study after school or on weekend. Because they have very tense competition to get a good as well as they can. Let think, Thailand is the one that very tense admission competition but those countries is double or more then Thailand situation.
